Nordel Way Improvements
The project consisted of widening Nordel Way to implement left-turn lanes at Brooke Road and Shepherd Way intersections along with the installation of drainage improvements and a centre median along Nordel Way.
To accomplish this work a retaining wall was required in an area that was considered to be enviromentally sensitive as well as all new street lights and intersection signals were installed. At the completion a sound barrier wall was constructed on both side of Nordel Way.

96th Ave Widening Project
The 96th Avenue project involves ultimate Arterial Road widening including storm sewers, water mains, curb & gutter, paving, sidewalks, street lighting, traffic signals, retaining walls, preloading and bridge construction in the City of Surrey along 96th Avenue between 160th Street and 168th Street. The total value of the contract is about 10 Million Dollars. One of Surrey’s major federal stimulation funded projects, a major portion of the project is required to be complete before March 31, 2011. A second phase of the bridge crossing Serpentine River will complete in the summer of 2011. The major challenge of the project is the road construction between 160th to 164th. Construction in the area involves excavation and road construction work on existing properties on both sides of the Arterial. Major property restoration and reconfiguration to the properties in the area are part of the work in this challenging project.
