Hall Constructors completed this excavation and shoring project for Performace Construction in 2015. At the beginning of the project, Hall worked with the environmental engineer to locate and remove over 1,000 m3 of contaminated soil and one underground oil storage tank. Once the site was remediated, Hall progressed the excavation on the small lot by using the back lane and temporary ramps to maintain access.
Hall Constructors completed the excavation & shoring, as well as the offsite civil work on this townhouse project for Marcon Construction. Due to limited working space in this residential neighbourhood, Hall worked with the Owner on phasing the work in order to facilitate the construction of the building once it was at grade.
Under contract with Onni, Hall Constructors completed this 35,000 m3 excavation & shoring project using their barge facility for ocean disposal of all clean, native material. Hall was able to work with Onni to phase the excavation and allow the formwork contractor to begin early work on the back half of the site while Hall finished at the front. This meant that the first suspended slab could be poured before the detail excavation was complete.
Scope of work including replacing existing 200mm watermain with 250mm, site demolition, grading, underground utilities.
Hall Constructors was contracted by EllisDon to complete the offsite civil work at Brentwood Mall for Shape Properties. This extensive project included utility relocation and roadwork upgrades which needed to be completed before redevelopment of the existing mall could begin. While this work was on two very busy roadways, Hall worked closely with the City, Owner and Consultants to execute the work with minimal impacts to the public.
Storm and Sanitary upgrades, road re-construction and improvements to Knight Street, Jacombs Road and Sweden Way, BC Hydro and Telus civil installation.
108 lot site servicing including new roadworks and existing roadwork upgrades and utilities. Maintaining traffic during the road reconstruction and installation of utilities without interruptions were a challenge that Hall managed through good planning and timely work. Upon completion a quality product was delivered while improving access in and out of this community within the Township of Langley.
A brand new 4 direction interchange was constructed on HWY 99 at 16th Avenue. The project required the relocation of Ferguson and Carlson Creeks. Two pre-cast panel walls were required for north and southbound off ramps, the later requiring a curved wall. Property acquisitions were untimely so a temporary stream channel had to be constructed to bypass an entire portion of the project site for several months. The project was completed 2 months ahead of schedule.
A new offramp was constructed to provide direct access to the Boundary Bay Airport via HWY 99 Southbound. The Ladner Trunk Interchange also required some interim upgrading to facilitate an acceleration lane for HWY 99 Northbound. This required shoring of the north abutment fill slope and preloading of all new construction with about 35,000m3 of preload. This project was completed on schedule.
