Project Highlights
- Pre-production static compression pile load testing program (8MN).
- 547 no. full displacement piles (FDP) of 600mm diameter to depths of 36.5m installed from base of 5m deep excavation.
- Displacement piling reduced approximately 6,500m3 of drilling spoil disposal compared to conventional concrete piling techniques.
- Challenging ground conditions encountered during construction, with Hall introducing pre-drilling of pile locations to improve schedule.
